Gunshot detection and response
When a gunshot is detected, the signal is automatically sent to Alarm.com’s cloud-based security platform. This allows for two processes: (1) Alerting the central station and enabling identification through visual verification, and (2) sending emergency notifications via local alarms and SMS and push alerts.

Accurately detect gunshots in 0.5 seconds.
Field of view coverage. No line of sight is required.
Gunshot detection sensors do not require a direct line of sight to the firearm. Each sensor covers 2,500 square feet with 180 degrees of coverage.
Greater than 99.9% accuracy rate
- Two acoustic sensors to hear the “bang”
- Two infrared sensors to see the muzzle flash
- Detects low caliber handgun (.22 caliber) to semi-automatic and automatic assault rifles
- Discreet 4”x4” footprint wall or ceiling mounted at a height of 9’ to 12’
